Pastel on pumiced Gatorboard
This painting will be going into a show to be held in May at the Howland Cultural Center in Beacon, NY. The theme of the show is “Connecticut Pastel Society Paints New York” and it’ll feature all scenes of New York State. Swamp River is in Dutchess County, and although the show will be held in spring I couldn’t resist this fall scene. “Fall Reflections III” (below) is a different take on the same scene.
